Terms of Service
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of outpostspecialprojects.com (the “site”), including the client portal, which Outpost Special Projects (“we”, “us”) runs. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them; if you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
The site
The site describes our AI workflow and automation services, lets you send us a project brief, and gives clients a portal to sign in to. The demo at /demo/ is an illustration only: the company in it is fictional, and nothing in it is connected to real systems.
Project work is agreed separately
Sending a brief doesn’t commit either of us to anything. Any work we do for you will be covered by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal or statement of work. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement wins.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to create an account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password secure: you’re responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us right away at jackgagnier25@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
When using the site, don’t:
- break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours, or probe, scan or test the site’s security without our written permission;
- interfere with or overload the site, or upload malicious code;
- send spam or automated submissions through the contact form, or scrape the site;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
What you send us
You keep ownership of the briefs and information you send us. You give us permission to use them to reply to you, to evaluate your project, and to carry out any work you engage us for. Please don’t send sensitive information, such as passwords or financial account numbers, through the contact form.
Our content
The site, including its text, design, logo and code, belongs to Outpost Special Projects and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use it for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, modify or redistribute it without our written permission.
Other services
The site relies on services run by others, such as Google for “Continue with Google”, and your use of them is also subject to their terms. We aren’t responsible for other companies’ services or for websites the site links to.
Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Information on the site is general and isn’t professional advice for your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Outpost Special Projects won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. This section covers the site only; a written agreement for project work sets its own terms.
Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because you misused the site or broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from it, including legal fees.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other people at risk. You can close your account at any time by emailing jackgagnier25@gmail.com. The sections on what you send us, our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law still apply after an account closes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the site will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you and we both agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. If a change is significant, we’ll also let account holders know by email or on the site.
